Maui Wowie

by Daniella Grace in , ,

Here's a little collage from my latest trip to Maui. It's no secret this place has become like a second home to me.. I can give you guys 10Million reasons why this place is so magical but the number one reason, to me, is the people. Maui is home to so many talented artists and designers and I feel so fortunate to have collaborated and become dear friends with many of them. My go to photographer, Frank Berthout, who is responsible for the majority of my images, is one of those people. He has an eye for photography like I've never seen.. And to be honest, when we first met (yeaarrrs ago) it was because I was really just a HUGE fan of his work. At that time he was only shooting underwater photography but when I noticed one of his photos (of a whale) in a coffee shop, I knew I had to get in touch with him.. So I reached out and we decided to do a test shoot. It was his first time shooting a model and my first time shooting underwater.. We were both completely out of our elements but decided to just wing it and we somehow created the most beautiful images. And since that day we've collaborated on numerous campaigns together and continue to do so.

Also, most of the jewelry you'll see me wearing is made by my very good friend and local designer, Olia. She draws her inspiration from the raw elements of the island and seamlessly mixes natural stones with black lava rock, wood, pyrite and sometimes even bone. No matter where I am in the world, I always make sure and bring a few of Olia's custom made pieces with me, that way I always carry a little bit of Maui and my friends with my everywhere I go..

Intimissimi x Daniella

by Daniella Grace in ,

It's no secret that I have an undying love for pretty, little lingerie.. So I'm very excited to share with you this collaboration I did with my favorite Italian lingeire line, Intimissimi. Not only do they make the most comfortable underwear but I love how unique all their sets are and how affordable it is to boot. Intimissimi, in my eyes, has managed to keep the balance between sexy and comfortable enabling women to wear these adorable pieces throughout the day as well as the night. I can't wait to add more to my collection! 💋

Vienna

by Daniella Grace in ,

Here's a few unseen pics from my trip to Vienna. I will surely have to visit this beautiful city again as I only had two days here. But between seeing the lipizzaner stallions, exploring the ginormous Christmas marts and spending countless hours at the Museum of Natural History (a must see for History buffs like me), I think I did well with the short time I had. Also, I know now that I have quite a few followers from Vienna, so I would love to hear any recommendations you guys may have as I would love to get back to this city ASAP!

2015

by Daniella Grace in

2015 you've been an increddddible year! There's so much I want to say but I'll try and keep it short. This year has taught me a lot about patience, perseverance and (as cheesy as it sounds) to always stay true to my heart.

To my family, friends and agents, you guys are responsible for me always keeping this "gigantic" smile on my face.. I love you all so, so much! Thank you for your continued love and support. Here's to another year of chasing dreams, staying inspired through meeting new people and discovering more of this beautiful world! I hope you all will do the same! #2016, I'm ready for ya! ✨

Picture Perfect Passau

by Daniella Grace in , ,

Shooting in the cutest little city in Germany... It's not very often I stumble across a place that is this "picture perfect". All the buildings here are perfectly coordinated in pastel colors, the old cobbled streets are charmed with colorful designs, and cafe's are decked out in an adorable 50's retro theme. This place has so much character and I can see why it's one of Germany's best kept secrets. Passau is every photographer/bloggers dream come true. And as if it couldn't feel anymore like a story book, their annual Christmas market is going on right now so the streets are draped with hanging lights, Christmas trees are on every corner and there's lots and lots of gluehwein to keep you warm! :)

Budapest

by Daniella Grace in ,

Hey guys! Thank you for being so patient with me. I haven't had access to high speed internet for the past week BUT I finally found a great cafe here in Budapest with wifi and am now able to post! So, while I'm here in eastern Europe shooting for a few clothing companies, I decided to explore this part a bit more as I tend to never stray further than Spain, France or Italy... But this trip, I wanted to branch out and explore some new countries while I had the chance. Also, I am so excited to have my family here with me.. We figured what better time and place to have a little Christmas family vacation!

SF

by Daniella Grace in ,

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here in San Francisco! Having been born in the Bay Area, I've always felt a strong connection to this city, especially during the holiday season. I don't know what it is exactly that makes this "little city by the bay" so dear to me.. maybe it's the festiv decor that lines the streets and proudly hangs in shop windows or maybe it's simply the fact that SF is chilly a good 364 days out of the year.. and there's nothing that says "Christmas" quite like bundling up and braving the cold in search for a warm cup of coco or clam chowder. Either way, I always love coming here to get into the holiday spirit. Hope you enjoy today's look!

Capri

by Daniella Grace in , ,

Three days in Capri was hardly enough.. This little mediterranean island, although small in size, has such diversity when it comes to scenery and things to do . Each area has it's own vibe and "local charm" that has stayed unchanged for centuries. But one thing that stays consistent throughout Capri, is it's natural beauty made up of limestone cliffs and lush gardens that will literally make you feel suspended over the ocean (not for the faint of heart).. Although my stay here was short, I am so thankful to have experienced this magical little island. And to all the beautiful souls I met along the way, thank you for making my trip that much more special!

Amalfi, I love you

by Daniella Grace in , ,

Out of all the years I've spent visiting Italy, I can't believe this is my first time in the Amalfi Coast. People have been telling me for years that it's the most beautiful place in all of Italy and possibly the world, but I was always more than happy in Tuscany. The North is magical in an entirely different way but the south is all the clichés of "jaw dropping and breath-takingly" beautiful. It's hard to fathom how a place like this is even real. The waters are either crystal clear blue or shades of Emerald depending on the time of day. The towns have so much charm and authenticity kept alive for hundreds of years and the best part is all of the hidden beaches and restaurants along the coast that you can only get to by boat. My sister and I had the time of our lives yesterday when we took a private boat all the way up and down the coast stopping at every hidden cave, beach, and restaurant that you can only access by water. 4 days here have seemed to go by so slowly and I'm so thankful for that but I'm still not ready to leave, so we decided to stay and extra 3 days to see more of the surrounding islands. Here's my photo diary so far. I hope my pictures will inspire you to make the trip and experience how life changing Amalfi really is! 💙

Florence

by Daniella Grace in , , ,

The past three days in Florence have flown by.. but it was just enough time to reconnect with old friends and show my sister all the main attractions/hidden gems of this city... From spending an entire day exploring the Boboli Gardens, climbing the 463 steps of Giotto's Bell Tower for a 360 view of the city/Duomo, eating more gelato than I'd like to remember by the Arno, and watching the sunset on the Ponte Vecchio from the rooftop bar of the Westin, I think we did Flornece right with what little time we had here.. Off to Postiano we go! 💙

Ciao Italia

by Daniella Grace in , ,

I just love spur of the moment trips! I had originally planned to visit my family in Portugal this week but when my sister told me she had booked herself a ticket to Italy and was landing in just a few short hours, I had no choice but to change plans, grab by backpack and hop on a plane.. Haha. So with that said, my sister and I have decided to do a little bonding by eating and drinking our way through Italy. Our first stop is (her favorite city) Venice and next we head to my most cherished city, Florence. But our trip doesn't stop there! Stay tuned to see where we end up next.. Arrivederci! ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡¹
